Church “Mazarache”- belongs to religious constructions that represent the ancient Moldovan type of church. This type appeared at the end of XIV - beginning of XV and became one of the unique phenomenon in the history of Moldovan architecture.

Stefan cel Mare Boulevard -which length is 3.8 kilometers was frequently changed its name and face over the centuries. In 1944 the central part of the boulevard was almost completely destroyed, only 2-3 buildings remained unharmed.
